Privacy Policy

Effective August 6, 2026 · Local More Local LLC · Coachella Valley, California

The short version

When you request a quote, we collect your contact details and a description of your project, and we hand that information to a small number of local contractors so they can reach out to you. We do not sell or share your personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time by emailing contact@localmorelocal.com.

1. Who we are

Local More Local LLC (“Local More Local,” “we,” “us”) operates localmorelocal.com, an AI-assisted home service diagnosis and contractor matching service for homeowners in the Coachella Valley, California. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and the emails we send you.

2. Information we collect

  • Identifiers & contact information — your name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code, collected when you request a quote, create an account, or download a diagnosis.
  • Project information — the service category, your description of the problem, photos or details you type into the chat, and your optional budget range.
  • Account information — your login email and profile details, and your email notification preference.
  • Internet and usage activity — pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and interactions with the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications — messages you send us and our replies, including status updates about your quote.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health information, or other sensitive personal information as defined by California law. Please do not send it to us. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share the personal information of minors.

3. How we use your information

  • To generate an AI-assisted diagnosis and cost estimate for your project.
  • To match your request with local contractors and pass along your contact details so they can contact you about the work you requested.
  • To email you a copy of your quote, and updates when a contractor accepts it.
  • To create and maintain your account and dashboard.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the site, and to measure the performance of our marketing.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Who we disclose information to

Contractors. The core purpose of this service is to connect you with local pros. When we match your request, we disclose your name, contact details, ZIP code, project description, and budget range to the contractor(s) we select, so they can contact you. This is a disclosure for a business purpose at your request; we are not paid by contractors for your information, and we do not receive monetary or other valuable consideration in exchange for it. Once a contractor has your information, their own privacy practices apply to how they use it — we do not control them.

Service providers. We use vendors who process information only on our instructions and for our business purposes, including our website and database hosting provider, our transactional email provider, our AI model provider (which processes the text of your chat to produce a response), and our analytics and advertising measurement providers.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before doing so and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, which set cookies and similar identifiers to measure site traffic and the performance of our ads. We operate Google Consent Mode, so advertising and analytics storage is governed by the consent signals your browser and our consent controls provide. Where enhanced conversions are used, contact details are hashed before transmission.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google account. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request under California law.

6. AI-generated content

Diagnoses, likely-cause explanations, and repair cost ranges on this site are generated by an AI model from the information you provide. The text you enter into the chat is sent to our AI provider to produce that response and is retained by us as part of your request record. AI output is informational only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is not a formal bid, an inspection, or professional repair, engineering, legal, financial, or safety advice. Always confirm with a licensed professional before acting on it.

7. How long we keep information

We retain quote requests, contact details, project descriptions, and generated quote PDFs for 24 months after your last activity with us, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Account records are kept while your account is open and for 24 months after you close it. We keep records longer only where a law, tax obligation, or legal dispute requires it. Signed links to quote PDFs expire after 90 days.

8. Security

Information is transmitted over TLS and stored in an access-controlled database with row-level access rules, so a homeowner can only see their own quotes and only authorized administrators can access lead records. Quote PDFs are stored in a private bucket and reachable only through expiring signed links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information — you can also do this yourself in your dashboard profile.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of today. If that changes, an opt-out link will appear in our footer.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.

How to submit a request. Email contact@localmorelocal.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and tell us which right you are exercising. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, extendable by another 45 days if we notify you. To protect your information, we verify requests by matching the email address and phone number on file with your quote request or account; we may ask for additional details if we cannot match you. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your own identity.

In the 12 months before the effective date of this policy, we collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2, for the purposes in Section 3, and disclosed identifiers, contact information, and project details to contractors and service providers for the business purposes described in Section 4. We sold and shared no personal information.

10. Residents of other states

If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law that grants access, correction, deletion, or opt-out rights, you may exercise those rights using the same contact method above and we will honor them on the same terms.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post any updates on this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes to how we disclose your information will be described here before they take effect.
